LET US WORSHIP TOGETHER

Once again, the Advent season is here during which time we await the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  What a lot of preparation, both physically and mentally, we have to do to accept this precious gift.

 

FAMILY CANDLES - Each year during Advent we ask each family, if they choose, to bring a white unscented 3” to 4” tall candle to place on the altar table. The candles will remain on the altar table during Advent (11-29 through 12-20) and will later be melted into 2 large family candles to be presented to one family from each service during Lent.  If you forget to bring a candle any Sunday, the Worship Committee will have them for sale for $2 each.

 

CHRISTMAS EVE - As has been our custom for many years, we will have 3 opportunities to worship on Christmas Eve.  There will be services at 5 PM (especially for the children),  and 7 PM and 11 PM family services.  We hope each of you will come and worship with us at one of these services.

 

NEW YEARS EVE - There are also plans in place to have a Watch Night service on December 31 at 7 PM.  Please consider attending this special service to end the year with prayer and consecration.
