NORTHGATE YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

United Methodist Youth Fellowship: Youth fellowship provides an exciting opportunity for young people (grades 7-12) to enhance their spiritual growth through games, outings, snack suppers, and church related projects.

 

 

Our mission, as the youth,  is to grow spiritually, through fellowship with one another and with God, to build lasting bonds with each other, to reach out to our community in service, and to have a good time while accomplishing our goals.

 


Sunday School

Nursery (Infant to 15 Months): Dependable, loving, and well supervised care is available for newborns and babies not yet walking on their own.

Walkers (15 Months to 3 Years): Our walkers are encouraged to experience God's world through their emerging senses and to learn about God and Jesus through simple Bible verses, songs, flannel board plays, painting, and other exciting, age-appropriate learning opportunities.

Pre-School (3 to 4 Years): Interactive stories, games, crafts, and other exciting opportunities encourage children to learn Bible stories and begin practicing simples Biblical truths in their own lives.

Kindergarten through 3rd Grade: This program focuses on children's efforts to begin applying Biblical text and truths in their own lives through the use of age-appropriate lessons and activites.

4th, 5th and 6th Grade: Bible stories, specialized readings, and current events (drama, role play, and personal life experiences) bring Biblical characters and events into an understandable context for children.
